PLANNING & DESIGN COMMISSION <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />MINUTES FOR THE MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 27, 2017 <br />ItOLL CALL <br />Mr. Malone called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm in Council Chambers and led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />Present: Greg Malone, Dave Anderson, Don Rerko, Tom Patton, Darrick Matthews <br />Absent: Julie Nader, Paul Schumann <br />Staff: City Engineer Pietro DiFranco, Planner James Aspery, Administrative Assistant Nicole <br />Rambo-Ackerman <br />REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES <br />Mr. Malone moved, seconded by Mr. Anderson, to approve the Planning & Design <br />Commission minutes of September 13, 2017, motion passecl5-0. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />17-9750; Sikula Lot Consolidation; 22977 Macbeth Avenue <br />Proposal consists of consolidating two parcels (PPN 237-13-042 & PPN 237-13-041) resulting in <br />a single parcel of 0.525 acres with frontage on Macbeth Avenue (91:01'). Both parcels are zoned <br />One Family Residence C. <br />Mr. DiFranco stated that the applicant was purchasing an adjacent lot and combining it with the <br />existing lot and the Engineering Department does not have any issues with the request. <br />Mr. Malone moved, seconded by Mr. Patton, to approve 17-9750; Sikula Lot <br />Consolidation; 22977 Macbeth Avenue consisting of consolidating two parcels (PPN 237- <br />13-042 & PPN 237-13-041) resulting in a single parcel of 0.525 acres with frontage on <br />Macbeth Avenue (91.01'), motion passed 5-0. <br />17-9780; Frolo Lot Split and Consolidation; 4272 and 4294 Martin Drive <br />Proposal shows splitting off a portion of parce1232-03-027 and consolidating it with parcel <br />232-03-028. Parce1232-03-027 will have an area of 0.891 acres and a frontage of 80+ feet. <br />Parce1232-03-028 will have an area of 1.162 acres and a frontage of 112+ feet. Both lots would <br />conform to code for width and area. Both parcels are zoned One Family Residence A. <br />Mr. DiFranco stated that a lot split was done in the past to create an L-shaped lot and a smaller <br />lot for a house. The parents have passed away and the children are trying to sell the parcels and <br />would like them to be more marketable. Thomas Martynowski, 4248 Martin Drive, wanted to <br />ensure that no development would occur because of the lot split and consolidation, Mr. DiFranco <br />was not aware of any intentions of the owners to build at this time.
