enjoy themselves regardless. Billy Morris and the Sunset Strip will be performing on July 16
with Wilbeck's BBQ providing the food. Rack cards have been distributed to several businesses
and gathering spaces, which seemed to achieve a great reach and response.
Yoga in the Park - Julv 1, Au ug st 5
James reminded the group of the upcoming venue change for July 1 St. He did not see an issue for
the August 5t' event but will confirm with the Parks & Recreation Department.
"Be Our Guest" - An Afternoon of Tea and Trumpets - Sundav September 10
Stephanie informed the group that St Clarence has been booked. More details will emerge after
NOEF's meeting on June 27t'. James will provide Stephanie with a budget for NEO Cosplay's
services so they can come to an agreement.
Fall Events - October Storvtelling
Lauren informed the group that her colleague has experience with organizing these events. She
will provide more details at the July meeting, but sees no issues organizing the event quickly and
easily.
Oxcart Pantrv Little House Proiect
The group discussed potential options for the existing building located to the rear of the Oxcart
Pantry, near the community gardens. Ideas included a farmers' market stand for gardeners to
distribute their extra produce, a bike repair station and a free community library. Expanding on
the idea of the library, Lauren suggested that the building could serve as both a free lending
library as well as a gallery highlighting North Olmsted's history. A small book-lending area
could be installed on one wall, with the other walls featuring durable, informative displays
covering the City's history. It was suggested that the south wall could be removed to create an
open design encouraging more traffic. The project would also combine the missions of the Arts
and Landmarks Commissions into one signature project.
It was agreed by all that this concept was the ideal use for the space. James asked the group to
search for potential design examples as he gauges the project's feasibility with his City
colleagues.
ADJOiJRNMENT
With no her busines7fie e tg ad'.ourned at 7:14 p.m.
?
Lauren Suter, Chair James spery, Planner
Approved: 711 ?//
