Ms. Schuler agreed and added that this process would make it
more user-friendly for the residents who want to take part in the program. Mr. Dubelko
suggested the program be continuous and to use the information that is readily available and add
to it as more is discovered. Ms. Schuler added that people who do not receive letters initially
may take the impetus to do their own research and apply for the program on their own.
2016 Annual Renort
Ms. Schuler suggested assigning a goal to each member to ensure the goals are getting worked
on. Each member brings different skill sets to the commission that can be better utilized. Mr.
Neville suggested potentially forming sub-committees to address the goals, Mr. Limpert agreed.
Mr. Morse pointed out that the Centennial Home program was a larger project than was initially
anticipated. Mr. Neville mentioned that some of the goals are not a priority, but did not see any
that needed to be removed from the list. Discussion regarding Fatheads eligibility for Landmarks
recognition. Mr. Dubowski suggested adding the Thompson House move to the report. Mr.
Neville would like to see the revised draft prior to approving the report at the next meeting.
Historic Preservation Plan
Mr. Aspery asked the commissioners to review the plan and have any comments ready for the
next meeting.
