<br />Cabin prior to Santa's arrival at 3:00pm. The NOHS choir will still be able to perform on the <br />Gazebo from 3:00-4:00pm but will be required to use their own PA system. James will follow up <br />with Janelle regarding bonfire set-up. It was agreed that the NOHS Afterprom committee can <br />return to sell s'mores kits- Stephanie will contact organizers. James will coordinate with the Rec <br />Center to provide outdoor games and will not organize indoor games. <br />Three large snowflake decorations have been ordered and will be installed along Lorain Road by <br />the Service Department by the first week of November. Jackie shared that the Community Council <br />is interested in purchasing a holiday decoration in 2019 to supplement the Commission's <br />purchasing. The large, temporary ground sign and pole banners will also be installed that same <br />week. Yard signs will be created and distributed to members by the end of October. Rack cards <br />will be sent to the printer and distributed by late-October. Gazebo decorating is scheduled for <br />Sunday, November 4?' at 10:00am. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Commission Membership <br />Members welcomed new members Jennifer Scofield and Stephanie Procter to the Commission. <br />Their terms are slated to run through 2021. Discussion then shifted to 2019 budget planning, with <br />the group agreeing on $6,000 for Other Supplies, $1,000 for Printing and $5,000 for Outside <br />Services. Preliminary expenses discussed included continuing yoga classes, adding holiday <br />decorations and increasing the Party in the Park event budget.
