Mr. Weston pointed <br />out that it is good for the applicants to be regulated by the Board of Health because first aid and <br />other training is required for tattoo establishments. <br />Mr. Malone moved, seconded by Mr. Schumann, to approve the conditional use permit for <br />18-10848; Style Associates Salon; 23565 Lorain Road with the recommendation that City <br />Council waive the requirements for building size and spacing of tattoo establishments, with <br />the condition that microblading shall remain an accessory use to the salon, motion passed <br />6-0. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />Ms. Lieber will compile a list of items that need to be updated in the code, including broken <br />references and bette "r use definitions. She believes that microblading should be added as a <br />definition. Mr. Schumann added that the County will not grant permission for microblading until <br />the applicant receives approval from the City. Ms. Lieber suggested the Division of Building ask <br />to see the county approvals prior to issuing Certificates of Occupancy. Mr. Weston affirmed how <br />important Certificates of Occupancy are for their annual inspections.
