there is some art work currently at the library from different artists even those outside North <br />Olmsted. Brief discussion regarding how the art was chosen and the lack of effort made to <br />allow the commission to give their input or to find local artists took place. The commission <br />was very disappointed that they did not have input and no local artists were hired. <br />V. COMMUNICATIONS: <br />• Cultural Activities flyer returned. <br />Mr. Garland advised that the only flyer returned from Homecoming was Marybeth Sherry's. <br />Discussion of having an art show at the North Olmsted Recreation Center ensued and were <br />on the grounds it would be best suited. The park area did not have much room at <br />homecoming for art displays. Mr. Yustick indicated that after his current show was <br />completed he would pursue his research in compiling information for the commission to <br />have their own art show. <br />The Commission would like to start their meetings at 6:45 pm from now on. Mrs. Brown <br />would like to see the commission have some type of press reviewing the commission and <br />what they would like to do and what their charge is. A few of the commissioners suggested <br />that they knew some reporters that they could talk to. She would like to see the art work for <br />the library mentioned in the paper. There was a brief discussion regarding high school plays <br />and whether or not they would be taking place in the fall. . <br />VI. COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />VII. ADJOURNMENT: <br />R. Garland moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:45 pm. D.
