A map showing the proposed parcels to be rezoned were provided in commissioner's
packets as well as photos of each of the sites. The current zoning of the 25 parcels is a
combination of limited industry, mixed use, single family and multi family zoning, some of
which has split zoning. The new zoning would be Residential Office District which is
outlined in Ordinance 2006-135 which will be voted on at Council's next meeting. She
reviewed that as early at 1992 and again during the 2005 master plan review the Bradley
Road area was recommended to be rezoned from limited industry to a residential use.
However currently there is a mixture of residential homes, home offices, and small businesses
which are not light industry which would conflict with a strict residential classification.
Therefore the proposed zoning district was created and would allow for single family, two
family, public and semi public uses including public parks and playgrounds, as well as office
1
