Lasko moved to send the Boss Office Park proposal of 28900 Lorain Road to the Board <br />of Zoning Appeals with the recommendation that the 30-foot variance for rear yard <br />setback be granted in conformity to what was originally granted in 1986 and since expired. <br />R. Bohlmann seconded the motion, which was unanimously approved. <br />J. Lasko moved to table Boss Office Park of 28900 Lorain Road with the following <br />recommendations for new plans to be submitted: 1). The egress on the site is to show an <br />accurate radius of the apron. 2). The accurate location of the ground sign and landscape <br />bed are to be shown and the landscape materials are to be called out on the plan. 3). All <br />landscape removal and replanting/replacing required for the Stearns Road expansion are <br />to be shown and called out on the plan. 4). The replacement of what is delineated as the <br />existing row of 37 Austrian Pine trees which are to be replaced with low growing <br />evergreens as discussed. 5). A report is requested from the Safety Department pertaining <br />to the fence which was originally required to be constructed. The appropriate North <br />Olmsted School representatives for the Forest Elementary school are to be asked their <br />opinion regarding the placement of the fence. 6). A storm water detention plan as it <br />pertains to city code requirements or documentation depicting why or what variances <br />would be sought from council pertaining to storm water management is to be submitted. <br />7). Any and all light fixtures which may be affixed to buildings 4 and 5 are to be shown on <br />the plans for consideration as to whether or not they meet code requirements or be deemed <br />of a decorative nature. 8). The dumpster area is to be enclosed in order to enhance the <br />appearance of the property. The commission will not require the site to be irrigated <br />provided the enhancement of the dumpster area is completed. R. Sohlmann seconded the <br />motion, which was unanimously approved. <br />VII. COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />VIII. <br />Mr. Lasko commented that the first meeting of the commission demonstrated the spirit and intent <br />that the community entrusted upon them with their approval of consolidating the two <br />commissions into one and he commended everyone for their efforts and felt that it bode well for <br />where the commission was headed in the future. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />Chairman Lasko moved to adjourn the meeting.
