Mr. Burns expressed his concern over the ordinance. The real intent is to get a handle on <br />whether or not the water flow proposal will work before the plans are approved. He does nat <br />feel the current writing of the ordinance should be considered but should be tabled. Mr. <br />O'Malley disagreed with Mr. Burns and felt that the ordinance should be tabled. <br />J. Lasko moved to table ordinance 2006-7 to the next meeting. R. Bohlmann seconded the <br />motion which was unanimously approved. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-8 <br />An ordinance amending section 1135.02 of the zoning code in order to permit larger detached <br />accessory storage buildings on one family residence district lots that are one acre or greater in <br />size. <br />Ms. Wenger advised that one of the most common requests before BZA is residential sheds <br />larger than code permits. She supports a tiered system, where larger lots can accommodate <br />larger sheds. However, she is concerned that the maximum square footage proposed borders o'n <br />turning into a second garage. Mr. Conway indicated that there is a need to have a scale for sheds <br />and there should be something in the definitions section to clarify sheds and accessory structures. <br />Engineering advises that sheds exceeding a certain size would require downspouts that tie into a <br />stormwater system. Mr. Gareau indicated that it was a concept to have a better definition. F[e <br />would like to have building and planning assist in establishing clarification. <br />J. Lasko moved to table ordinance 2006-008 to next meeting. J. Cotner seconded the <br />motion which was unanimously approved.
