IV. NON-RE5IDENTIAL APPEALS AND REQUESTS: <br />Cleveland CuvahoEra Citv Port Authoritv; 30344 Lorain Road: (WRD 3) <br />Request for variance. The proposal consists of temporary sign for construction site. The following <br />variance is requested: - <br />1. A variance for displaying a temporary sign longer than code allows, (code pertnits 30 days, <br />applicant shows 10 months), which is in violation of section 1163.33(g). <br />Skip Jacobsen came forward to be sworn in and review the request. <br />Mr. Jacobsen had a temporary project sign for Emerald Village. The Port Authority is financing the <br />project with Catholic Charities. The sign is 4x8 - the variance is for extensiori beyond the 30 days <br />through May 2007. The sign will be on a construction fence 5 feet inside the rite away. Mr. <br />Maloney noted there a sign on one side, and asked if it will be close to the present sign. The sign <br />will be on the east side of the construction drive. Mrs. Diver noted that the ruling at the last request <br />was for no longer than 6 months. She proposed to stay in conformity with that ruling and then make <br />it subject to review there after. Mr. Burke asked if the applicant would want to amend his variance. <br />Mr. Jacobsen conceded. The Board felt no more than 6 months should be allowed.. <br />N. Sergi moved to grant Cuyahoga County Port Authority of 30344 Lorain Road their request <br />as amended and agreed upon: <br />1. A variance for displaying a temporary sign for 6 months longer than code allows, (code <br />permits 30 days, applicant shows 7 months), which is in violation of section 1163.33(g). M. <br />I)iver seconded the motion, which was unanimously approved. Variance Granted <br />VI.
