PLANNING & DESIGN COMMISSION <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />MEETING IYIINU'I'ES OF SEPTEMBER 12, 2007 <br />CAUCUS: <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Chair Lasko called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. in Council Chambers and led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />Present: John Laslco Jr., Don Rerko, Greg Malone, James Cotner, Mark Mahoney, Melissa <br />Meredith <br />Absent: Ralph Bohlmann <br />Staf£ Planning Director Kim Wenger, Assistant Law Director Bryan O'Malley, Building <br />Commissioner David Conway, City Engineer Dan Collins, Clerk of Commissions <br />Donna Rote <br />REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />Mr. Lasko moved, seconded by Mr. Mahoney, to approve the minutes of August 22, 2007. Roll <br />call: Laslco, Mahoney, Meredith, Rerko, Malone - yes; Cotner - abstain; motion approved 5-1. <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />1. Wellin2ton Place: 4800 ClalZue Road: (WRD 4) <br />Representatives: Riclc Meserini, Administrator of Wellington Place and John O'Neil, <br />President of Wellington Place <br />The proposal consists of reconsideration of conditions placed on the lot split and consolidation <br />plat. Ms. Wenger reviewed that the commission previously approved Wellington's lot split and <br />consolidation plat which included two conditions for approval, including a required access <br />easement from parcel B to parcel A for cross access through parcel B and prohibiting access <br />from Masticlc Road. The conditions were placed on vacant land not the developed Wellington <br />site. Any development of the vacant parcel will require Commission and Council review. <br />Therefore, she recommended removing the conditions previously placed on the approval. <br />Mr. O'Malley concurred with the planner and advised the commission of their authority in <br />reviewing the request. The parceUlot fronting on Mastick Road is preexisting and it would not <br />be advisable to enforce the conditions previously imposed. Mr. Meserini and Mr. O'Neil <br />concurred with the administration's report. Mr. Dispirtio, a neighbor to Wellington, reviewed <br />the plat.. <br />Mr. Laslco moved, seconded by Mr. Mahoney, to remove the two conditions placed on the <br />July 11, 2007 approval of the lot split and consolidation plat for Wellington Place of 4800 <br />Clague Road, which was unaniniously, approved 6-0.
