. <br />i <br />Mr. Koson, a neighbor, reviewed that he is concerned with lighting issues and presented photos <br />of the site. Mr. Thompson, a neighbor, said he is wolcen up every morning from the <br />constniction equipment noise and the lights shine into his windows at night as they are left on. <br />Mr. Khouri said that wall paclcs will be on the baclc of the building for safety and parlcing lot <br />lights are on timers and will not be on all night. Mr. Conway requested Mr. Khouri look into <br />construction lights being left on all night. Mr. Thompson also voiced a frustration from the <br />dust/dirt froin the site which is infiltrating the residents' homes. He would prefer there be no <br />signs allowed on the north side of the building. Councilman Orlowski suggested that all parking <br />lot lights include shields and suggested requiring all offices on the second floor be required to <br />close their drapes at dusk to ensure lights from the offices are not shining into the residents' <br />homes. Mr. Kalina said that he would bring the shields to the manager's attention. <br />J. Lasko moved to table N. O. Town Center of 24954 Brookpark Rd to allow the applicant <br />an opportunity to work out more proportionate signage for the south, east and west sides <br />of building D. R. Bohlmann seconded the motion, which was unanimously approved. <br />V. NEW BUSINESS: <br />VI. COlVIIYILTNICATIONS: <br />• OPC 2007 Cleveland event flyer: Ms. Wenger announced that the 2007 Planning & Zoning <br />Conference would be held November 9, 2007 and she would provide more information as it <br />becomes available. <br />o The conunission received a paclcet regarding an appeal of the Szarka proposal that tlie Law <br />Department would be handling. <br />• Ms. Wenger advised that she is applying for a grant through NOACA, transportation for livable <br />communities initiative, that will study an area around Great Northern, including the park-n-ride, <br />bilce path and commercial high density areas around 252 in hopes to complete a planning study. <br />She will know in August if the grant is approved and excited to see the proj ect started. <br />• Mr. Lasko requested the staff provide updates related to approved development projects. <br />VII.
