IVh-. Schumann commented on the possibility of the Doolittle marker for Springvale. It is <br />currently under discussion with the Recreation Department as well as other organizations <br />who might be interested in assisting financially. <br />Living Histop-y Proiect <br />Mr. Schumann updated the Commission about the project, the process and the involvement <br />with both the city and school administration. Mr. Schumalin has met with Kim Wenger and <br />Jaclcie Anderson from the Senior Center. Questions should be organized for the interviews. <br />Mr. Schumann stated that.the seniors will be videotaped for docuinentary purposes. There is <br />no set plan as to how to edit or format the film at this time. <br />Proclamation <br />The Commission then discussed the possibility of giving a Proclamation to Mrs. Lord, <br />former Chair of the Landmarlcs Commission. Mrs. Davis stated that Mrs. Lord has spent <br />several decades worlcing with the City of North Olmsted Landmarlcs Commission. Mr. <br />Orlowski stated that the Commission would need to propose the proclamation to the Mayor. <br />Plaquin? <br />Mr. Schumann stated that the Church at Frostville is missing its Landmarlc plaque. The <br />Jenkins, Prechtel and Briggs homes at Frostville should be plaqued as well. The Jenkins <br />home was built as a cabin dating back to c.1820. The Briggs home is early Greek Revival, <br />vernacular style, and the Cormnission has a substantial history on the home. The Prechtel. <br />house has been in the same spot since 1876, also vernacular style. Mr. Schumann and Mr. <br />Thomas briefly reviewed the history of the three homes in question, and it was agreed that <br />they should be recognized by the North Olmsted Landmarlcs Commission. The Olmsted <br />Historical Society is willing to pay for the three date strips. <br />Mr. Sehock moved to plaque the Jenkins, built e. 1820 home at Frostville, seconded by <br />Mr. I)ubowski, which was unanimously approved. <br />Mrs. Davis moved to plaque the Briggs home, built in 1836, seconded by Mr. Sehock, <br />which was unanimously approved. <br />Mr. Orlowski moved to plaque the Prechtel home, built in 1876, seconded by Mrs. <br />Davis, which was unanimously approved. <br />V. COMIVIUNICATIONS: <br />Mr. Schumann confirmed the Commission's memberships have been approved for the year. <br />VI. COMIVIITTEE REPORT: <br />VII.
