CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />CULTURAL ACTIVITIES COMMISSION <br />OLD TOWN HALL <br />MAY 2, 2007 <br />MI1vUTES <br />1. ROLL CALL: Chairman Garland called roll at 6:45pm. <br />PRESENT: R. Garland, G. Yustick, J. Kepperley, B. Martindale, D. Wahl <br />F. Curry <br />ABSENT: B. Brown <br />REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />D. Wahl moved to approve the Apri19, 2007 minutes with, seconded by G. Yustick, <br />which was unanimously approved. <br />II. NEW BUSINESS: <br />Mr. Kepperley mentioned that Officer Carbone is trying to establish pole banners <br />along Butternut Ridge and Burns, to raise school spirit. A variety of community <br />groups will be sponsoring the banners. <br />III. OLD BUSINESS: <br />Frostville Art Show: <br />Mr. Wahl and Mr. Yustick discussed making a one day show for the art exhibit at <br />Frostville. Discussed the application cost should be lowered to $40.00 due to the <br />small number of applicants. The Commission established the parameters for <br />accepting materials. The space will be 15' x15'. There was also discussion regarding <br />food and the possibility setting up a tent for vendors. There will be no refunds on the <br />application fee. <br />Mr. Garland would like to change the date for the next Commission meeting to May <br />30th instead of June 6th. <br />IV. COMMUNICATIO1oTS: <br />V. COldIMITTEE REPORTS: <br />• The High School play Music Man has been very successful. <br />• The Dover Players open their play at Old Town Hall on May 4th.
