. <br />s` <br />Dover Plavers Update <br />Three performers were ill the first weekend of the Dover Players production of Romeo and Juliet <br />causing the first scheduled performance to tie cancelled. The three understudies did not have <br />enough time to rehearse. The actress who played Juliet was ill during last performance. The <br />actor who played the Prince was awarded a part in a play at the Beck Center. The Director <br />would not allow him to skip rehearsal so he was unable to perform in the Sunday performance. <br />Donations totaled $896.61, expenses totaled $1450.03, leaving a deficit of $553.42, which was <br />covered by the Dover Playerse <br />Ms. Martindale was contacted by Sheldon Lawrence. He would like to direct a play in North <br />Olmsted. Ms. Martindale invited Mr. Lawrence to attend the December Cultural Activities <br />meeting. Linda Little will also be invited to the next meeting.
