Mrs. Sergi and Mrs. Bellido felt that it would not be in the board's best interest
to deny the variance for the existing driveway width regardless of the request to split the lot is a
preexisting condition. Mrs. Diver felt that the variance was warranted as there was no other
method than a variance.
Mrs. Sergi moved, seconded by 1VIs. Rudolph, to grant C1VIS09-02: Lot Split of PPN 237-
25-008 of 23865 Mastick Road a 51.65 foot variance for lot width of parcel "B", code
requires 80 ft, applicant shows 28.35 ft, which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section 1135.05
and was unanimously approvecl 4-0. Members questioned how they could address
possible suggestions for changes in the zoning code and Mr. O'Malley said the board could
address the zoning concerns and petition the Planning and Building Department to research and
address the boards concerns but the board needed to exercise caution when speaking out on
topics they address.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adj - urned at 8:40 pm.
N?tireen Diver, Chair
i
Do` a Rote, Clerlc of Commissions
c 3
Approved:
