Mr. Yustick reported that Sign-A-Rama donated a banner for Parkfest. Mr. Kepperley added <br />that Rich Denman, the owner of Sign-A-Rama, passed away from a heart attack on Monday, <br />May 31. Mr. Denman had also donated the date change on the festival banners. <br />Ciiy Hall Art Gallegy Frojeet <br />Three artists submitted applications, which were reviewed. The subrnittals from Shirley <br />Knestrict and John Spyak were unanimously approved. Kitty Angle's work was not approved. <br />Asian Festival, May 22, 2010 <br />Earlier this year Ms. Starner contacted restaurants, martial arts centers, and alternative health <br />care clinics in North Olmsted concerning participation in the Asian festival by supplying <br />discount coupons, rrienus, and flyers. At that time they expressed interest. When she followed <br />up wath them at a later date they declined ta participate. <br />Homeeoaning Festival <br />Mr. Kepperley was unable to attend the last Community Council meeting so he has no news. <br />COMMI'I"I'EE ItEPOR'Ti'S <br />I)over Plgyers I.Tpdate <br />Ms. Martindale reported their most recent show went well earning $1,535.00. Expenses totaled <br />$1,155.46 for a profit of $379.54. The next show, Jake's DilEmrna, set in a 1950's diner, is in <br />rehearsal. The play will be performed July 31, August 1, 7, 8, 14, and 15. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Commissioners' absences are excused.
