Ms. Davis said the pole barn fell around 1973. She spoke to a previous owner who would try to <br />find any photos of the pole barn. She suggested the rear fence which abuts the neighboring <br />apartments would need to be clean and or replaced. Mr. Thomas thanked the new owners for <br />purchasing and restoring the home as it has been neglected for years. Mr. Musial said they are <br />loolcing forward to restoring the home and providing an area for present and future scouts. <br />Ms. Wenger said the Planning and Design Commission recommended landmarking the property <br />as it would be consistent to the master plan. She then reviewed each of the commission's <br />procedural requirements which have been met and encouraged the commission to refer the <br />proposal to City Council. <br />Mr. Neville moved, seconded by Ms. Davis, to recommend City Council formally designate <br />25896 Butternut Ridge Road hoane as North Olansted Landmarlc based upon the <br />Landmark Commission's nomination, research and report; the recommendation from the <br />Planning and Design Commission; and the positive support of the property owner, which <br />passed 6-0. <br />Butternut Historic District Survey <br />Ms. Wenger said the submission of I-forms to the state historic preservation office was on target. <br />The consultants will be through the historical district taking photos of properties in the coming <br />weelcs. The office will send out a letter to all Butternut Ridge owners describing the project <br />taking place and that the consultants will be talcing pictures. . <br />COMMiJNICATION <br />• Archive files for North Olmsted Senior Center <br />• Archive files for North Olmsted Civil Service Commission <br />• Archive Files for North Olmsted Community Life Services Commission <br />Mr. Thomas asked if any of the members were interested in viewing any of the files listed on the <br />RC-3 form submitted. The members briefly reviewed each of the RC-3 forms and felt that the <br />listed topics were not ones they would be interested in viewing.
