25896 Butteriaut Ridge Road <br />Mr. Schumann said the North Olmsted Foundation is purchasing the Butternut home and intends <br />to restore the home and build a barn. They would like to have a museum and hold Boy Scout <br />events on the property. Mr. Schumann suggested inviting Mr. Musial to a meeting to discuss <br />ways the board could help the new owner find photos to restore the home accurately. They <br />would like to restore the home and work with the city to receive permits. Ms. Wenger reviewed <br />that she met with Mr. Musial who is aware that they are required to seek a conditional use permit <br />and go before both Landmarks and Planning and Design Commission. Mr. Schumann said he <br />would like the OHS and the Commission to support the new owner's efforts to restore the home. <br />Butternut Historic District Survey <br />Ms. Wenger reviewed the RFP which was distributed for review. She sent the RFPs to <br />Cleveland area consultants who meet the qualifications of OHPO to ensure the consultant used is <br />qualified. The deadline for proposals is July 7, 2011. Once they are received the committee will <br />meet to select a consultant. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />Ms. Wenger introduced newly appointed member Brian Walsh. The commission welcomed Mr. <br />Walsh who said he was excited to be with the board and looked forward to working with <br />everyone.
