but will leave his refrigeration going. The drivers that deliver cars at the dealership shut their
vehicles down also. We are talking a lot of extra pollution that is coming into this one area, right
now they are centered in the business hub of North Olmsted, Great Northern Blvd., they have
beautiful access in and out, they have a traffic light double lane roads, easy access north and
south as well as east and west. It is very difficult cars going out Mills Road to turn left to go
north on I'orter Road, how long do you think it is going to take for people to figure a short cut
instead of going up Porter Road to Lorain start cutting up North Park then they start going up
East Park. Right now the only people he can only people he can truthfully say do 30 miles an
hour on Porter Road are the semis and they are not supposed to be down there. An unidentified
man came forward to speak for Ms. Wood who lives on Mill Road to who it would go to he is
not sure, but it is questioning why they didn't get notified of the meeting and things like that.
The Clerk took the letter and indicated she would look into it and get back with Ms. Woods as
to the City's process of notification. Mrs. Sokol who lives has lived on Porter Road for thirty
years she moved to North Olmsted because it was a suburb, this little escapade Water Tower
Square has already cost my husband and myself over a thousand dollars when they put the little
modification a light in front of our house practically plus widening Mill Road, and out of the
pensioners pocket a thousand dollars believe me it's not easy to pay when someone else gets rich
from those things. Now for several years she has tried to find out how many stores are in North
Olmsted as compared to residential homes, she has not been able to find out yet, to my
estimation it is five to one. This is ridiculous gentleman this is suppose to be a suburb, and have
become nothing but garage sale USA one store on top of the other, and half of them are empty.
The developers that come around she regards as termites they come destroy our land, our homes
by building their monstrosities and they stand empty. Water Tower was permitted to be built
providing the stores would be several small stores not one big one, when and how it was they
were permitted that they can remove the walls and make a great big store, all they show is pretty
pictures anyone can make pretty pictures, pretty pictures don't show the pollution the traffic the
accidents and inconveniences we are very sorry we didn't have enough time to notify people who
live in settlements which have now have problems getting on Dover trying to get to work. This
corner is so congested it is unbelievable every body cuts through Mills Road. All we ask you is
please your residents of North Olmsted like we are stop the rapping of North Olmsted on it's
people, stop the rape. Because there will be nobody to elect us to office because store people
they work and go they don't care about North Olmsted, please stop the rape of North Olmsted
consider the people return our suburb to us we pay suburb tax's thank you. We will lose store
people they don't caxe we do, return it to suburban tax's. Ms. Herbster from Porter Road
questioned how big is the new store going to be. NIr. Tallon indicated 95,206.00 square feet.
Ms. Herbster questioned what would happen to the store on great northern blvd.. Mr. Crook
indicated currently that is to stay in place until further notice is what he has been told by Giant
Eagle. NIs. Herbster asked if Mr. Crook was saying you may have the one on Dover Road open
and the one on Great Northern open at the same time. Mr. Crook indicated that is what he has
been told. Mrs. Herbster indicated and that is only a mile away. Mrs. Herbster asked if the
Commissioners had read the letter from her husband as he is out of town. Mrs. Herbster read
aloud what her husband wrote to the Commissioners. (to read Mr. Herbster's letter see attached
letters on the back of the minutes.) Mrs. Herbster questioned Mr. Dubelko as to why an
agreement should be upheld. Mr. Dubelko stated he was at the planning Commission meeting in
1994 and he had a number of discussions with the members of the Planning Commission one of
9
