-;• , " &I <br />3). Ordinance No. 99-83 <br />Mr. Tallon indicated that ordinance 99-83 is proposing a spot rezoning. Mr. Tallon read <br />allowed the following: That, after submission of this Ordinance to the Planning Commission of <br />this City for its opinion and recommendation, and after a Public Hearing hereon, notice of which <br />has been given pursuant to Section 14 of Article IV of the Charter of the City, entitled, "The <br />Council-Enactment of Zoning Ordinance and Regulations, Notice", and after its passage <br />pursuant to the Charter of this City, and its approval by the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted, <br />the Zone Map of North Olmsted is hereby amended and as amended be and the same is hereby <br />revised by changing the zoning of the following described parcels of land as follows: Permanent <br />Parcel Numbers 232-10-023, 232-10-024 and 232-10-125, from single family residence district <br />to general retail business district. NIr. Tallon indicated that he was against the proposed <br />ordinance, as rezoning issues should be addressed when the Zoning Code is reviewed. Tliis <br />ordinance would encroach upon residents. He recommends not passing the rezoning ordinance. <br />Mr. Koeth suggested that doing spot zoning should not be allowed. 1VIr. Brennan indicated that <br />he agreed with Mr. Koeth. NIr. Koeth reviewed that the residents would in no way benefit from <br />this ordinance. <br />R. Tallon motioned to not approve Ordinance No 99-83. The motion was seconded by K. <br />O'Rourke and unanimously approved. Motion #o deny Ordinance No 99-83 Carried. <br />VI. COMNIITTEE REPORTS: <br />VIi. NIlNOR CHANGES: <br />VIII.
