Variances will not be
required.
Mr. Zergott reviewed KJMC Incorporated proposal and asked all interested parties to come
forward. Mr. Allan, project manager, and Mr. Wygandet were present to present their proposal. -
Mr. Allan suggested the proposal is to add a 4,500 square foot, plus or minus two story addition
to the existing facility. All the exterior finishes are to match the existing building, all the materials
and colors will be the same scheme, basically more of what is there now. Additional parking
places are also part of the plans to accommodate the additional square footage of the addition.
Mr. Zergott asked if there were any questions. Mr. Conway indicated no variances would be
needed as the applicants will be putting in the continuous curbing that is required. Mr. Wygandet
suggested the new revisions that were submitted for the boards review shows the continuous
concrete curbing around the new paved areas. White spruce trees will be used to create a buffer
between our parking lot and the lot behind them. Mr. Wygandet suggested the white spruce trees
were picked to match the existing trees. Mr. Yager questioned if the applicants were just
extending the south east gable out and turning it into the hip at the end. Mr. Allan indicated Mr.
Yager was correct. Mr. Yager questioned what the mechanical pipes were on the side of the
building. Mr. Allan suggested they were put in place per the Cities requirements. Mr. Allan
indicated once a new air conditioner is put in place for the new addition the piping will be
removed and a more pleasing material will be used to improve the appearance.
