Mr. Lengle indicated he was asking for 17'square <br />feet which would only be 6'feet wider. Mr. Gomersall asked why Mr. Lengle could not conform to the <br />zoning code. Mr. Lengle indicated because his customer has requested the additional 6' feet, which puts <br />him between the board and the customer. <br />W. Kremzar motioned to grant Carpet & Tile Liquidators of 28300 Lorain Road their request for variance <br />(1123.12), with the following changes. Instead of erecting a 100' squaxe foot wall sign and receiving a <br />25' square feet variance for wall sign. They be allowed to erect a 92' square foot wall sign and be granted <br />a 17' square foot variance for wall sign. (Code limits a wall sign to 75' square feet). Which is in violation <br />of Ord. 90-125, Sections (1163.12(a)). The motion was seconded by, J. Konold and unanimously <br />approved. Variance Granted. <br />4. Willie L. Brewster. 4150 Porter Road: <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Proposal consist of adding a 120' square foot shed in a back yard that <br />currently has a 96 square foot shed in place. The total square footage of the two sheds would be 216' <br />square feet which exceeds the allowed 200' square feet. <br />The following variances are requested. <br />1) A varia.uce to have a second shed in a back yard. <br />2) A 16'square foot Variance for total square footage. (code allows 200'sq. ft. request 216'sq. ft.) <br />Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.02(d-1) <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties forward and reviewed the variances beulg requested. Mr. <br />Brewster, came forward to present his request. Mr. Gomersall indicated he had no questions regarding <br />Mr. Brewster's request and asked if diere were any questions from other board members or audience <br />members. Which is in <br />Violation of Ord 90-125, Section 1135.02 (I)Note: proposed swimming pool is in the 25' foot side yard <br />setback for a corner lot. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties forward and reviewed dle variances being requested. <br />Mr. Latas , and Mr. Healy a concerned neighbor came forward. Mr. Latas indicated the address on the <br />notice was incorrect. Mr. Latas stated "his Correct address is 30875 windy Hollow". The clerk <br />apologized for her mistake and indicated she would corrected the case file. Mr. Gomersall suggested the <br />requested variance in his opinion was not warrulted. Mr. Latas suggested he is in a position that no <br />matter where he put the pool he would need a variance. Mr. Healy suggested he would like to know were <br />the intended pool would be placed. Mr. Maloney indicated he was concerned for the safety of the children <br />in the neighborhood, as there is no indication of a fence being put up. Building Commissioner, Conway <br />reviewed that the City now requires a 4' foot barrier and the proposed pool appears to be above 4'feet, <br />along with a deck, and assumes that the ladder for the deck can be swung up and locked.
