? indicated that going down Porter Road, the old fire station and the tire dealership would stay and be renovated. He indicated that they would confer with a Lighting consultant and the buildings would be further detailed. Mr. Koeth questioned if the two building in the back would be part of the KIA dealership. Mr. Suhayda indicated that the buildings would be renovated and remain what they presently are. Mr. Koeth questioned how the buildings would be renovated. Mr. Suhayda - indicated that they are tying the buildings in to compliment the CVS, with the sandstone and wrought iron. Mr. Tallon questioned if the two buildings in the rear would have brick with wrought iron. Mr. Suhayda indicated that two building would be much similar, with new entrances on the buildings, new signage, and introduce some brick and metal. Mr. Tallon indicated that the buildings would just be painted. Mr. Suhayda indicated that there should be stone and a new canopy. Mr. Tallon indicated there was no canopy. He questioned if the two parcels that needed to be rezoned were still included in the project. Mr. Suhayda indicated yes. Mr. Tallon questioned if the proposal would move forward without the two parcels. Mr. Suhayda replied "no, it would not." Mr. Tallon questioned if Mr. Suhayda was aware of the original proposal being turned down in the past six or seven months. He questioned why the decision would be changed now. Mr: Suhayda indicated that the original plans did not include all the buildings. Mr. Tallon indicated it did include all the buildings, it was a new car dealership. Mr. Suhayda indicated he was not aware of that proposal. Mr. Tallon indicated that the dealer blatantly breaks the law every Friday night, and questions why the City should help the dealer. Mr. Tallon reiterated that this is the same project. Mr. Suhayda reiterated that he is not aware of the original plans. Mr. Tallon indicated that the dealership defies the Cities laws by bringing the cars forward out of the front setback and then moves them back every Saturday night. He indicated that the dealer has been warned and has chosen to ignore those warnings. Mr. Koeth questioned what the two vacant lots would be used for. Mr. Suhayda indicated it would be a paved parking lot used for storage of cars. Mr. Koeth questioned if the stored cars would be KIA's or would Mr. Halleen cross over the cars from the other dealerships. Mr. Suhayda indicated that he did not believe there would be anything to hold a dealer to what cars he could store on the lots. He indicated that for now the cars would be KIA's. Mr. Tallon indicated that the entrance on Dewey Road is not capable of carrying the traffic that exists there presently. He questioned if the dealer would be willing to help upgrade that infrastructure. 1VIr. Suhayda indicated that it was possibie. He indicated that the curb cut could be eliminated and that the truck traffic would come in off of Lorain Road. Mr. Tallon suggested eliminating the curb cut. Mrs. O'Rourke questioned the drainage with the new pavement. Mr. Deichmann indicated site plans have not been submitted yet. Mr. Suhayda indicated that the applicant is looking for preliminary indication before hiring an engineer, architect, and lightinb consultant. Mr. Spalding questioned if there were any lighting programs as of yet. Mr. Suhayda indicated that there are preliminary photometrics showing the layouts, but it has not been submitted yet. Mr. Tallon questioned if there were any comments or questions from the Board or the audience. Mr. Jordan, a Dewey Road resident indicated that his land would be the most impacted.
