At this time, Mr. Kurlander submitted a visual of what Teligent does
and how it is done. He indicated that Teligent is a wireless telecommunications
provider of local and long distance telephone services, Internet, and data services.
Mr. Kurlander indicated that an antenna would be placed on the highest building
in the business district that ties into the fiberoptic rietwork. From that location,
wireless signals that provide high speed and high capacity telephone, Internet and
data services are provided to other business office buildings in the bu5iness
district. Since Teligent does not have the same infrastructure as fiberoptic
providers, discounted rates can be offered, which make them very competitive.
