i?
seconded by D. Spoerke and unauunously approved. Motion carried. The members requested
that the clerk read back the motion. The clerk verified, according to her notes, they are
recommending that engineering come up with a plan addressing the drainage problem, as this
proposal does not adequately address the drainage going to the neighboring properties and to the
street. Mr. Burk clarified the proposal creates a hardslup ou susrounding properties. T7ie board
would like engiueering to verify where the water is going after it leaves this lot. Councilman
Nasher agreed to talk with Service Director Bohlmann and get suggestious on how to solve this
problem without causing any more flooding. Mr. Kazak wondered if there could be an answer by
the next meeting. Mr. Dunlap noted he is on the board of zoning appeals agenda for April 2.
Assistant Building Commissioner Rymarczyk covfuYned this proposal has been withdrawu from
the Apri12 agenda because of lack of information. He elaborated the building department has uot
yet received elevations and caunot accurately determine the variances without them. "The clerk
confiimed legal notices would have to be sent out today. Mr. Kazak prefened to have this
resolved by the April meeting. The clerk advised the resideuts that the notification procedure for
board of zoning appeals is more limited thau tlus board. Board of zoning appeals requires
notification on either side of the proposal, as well as the properties directly belund and across the
street from those three properties. The clerk noted although the notification list is more limited
everyone is welcoine to come to a public hearing. Mr. Rymarczyk told Mr. Dtwlap, the building
department needs all the information in at least two weeks prior to the meetiug date. Mr. Duulap
verified the proposed dwelling would be similar to one on Decker Road. In response to Mr.
Miller's question, Mr. Dunlap guessed the locatiou to be 5975 Decker Road. Mr. Kazak believed
tlus retention would be acceptable, provided the water went somewhere. He reiterated the city
should do something to remove this water.
V. NEW BUSINESS:
VI. OLD BUSINESS:
VII. ADJOURNMENT:
The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 P.M.
R. Burk, Chainnan
A. Cornish, Assistant Clerk of Commissions
