Including
some of the comments made tonight, regarding whether or not we should to pursue the CLG and
for what reasons. There were goals set on 1999 and it is amazing how many of those were
accomplished. There is a new roster which shows nine members and the expiration dates of their
terms. One of the female members questioned if the Chairperson would investigate the Ohio
Historic Society and how it is interpreted. Mr. Lang answered that he did have the name of
someone to call from the Historic Society and he would find out what the most important criteria
are for this commission to qualify. He commented that he did feel very confident when he read
through the qualification list for the membership. It would be worth while to pursue once the
commission has clear-cut goals and once they have determined how it will benefit the city. A
female member then commented that the board clearly knows there are certain funds available
only to CLG.
VII.
