excused C. Kasler and C. Corell. Mr. Barker suggested getting feedback from the homeowners
that have to fill this form out. Mr. Lang indicated that he had a map from 1870, which shows a
house and two barns. He didn't know whose house it was and didn't know where the barns went.
The Franks house across the street from his was the only one up in 1870 and he knows there was
a barn across the street, but it didn't go up until 1876. There were two barns behind his barn, so
he thinks the two that are showing are the two old ones and the new one that is still standing is in
front of the two old barns. Somewhere between 1870 and 1890 his house was built. There was
much discussion about the maps that Mr. Lang brought to the meetinj. There was also other
discussion such as how houses were moved in the old days and Mrs. Franks house.
Chairman Lord suggested that there would be no update on Springvale, unless board member
Davis briefed someone. Nobody indicated that they had spoken with her.
J. Lang questioned if anyone had seen the green binder with pictures of various City sites. Four
or five years ago the S.I.T.E.S. program and the photography class did a joint project of both
print and slide pictures of City Hall, Town Hall, Police Dept., Fire Dept., and Bus Garages. Mrs.
Lord suggested that she remembered seeing it, but didn't know where it was.
VI. ADJOURNMENT:
Chairman Lord adjourned the meeting at 8:05pm.
B. Lord; Chairman
Asst.
