Certificate Issued 1/8/01 IV. COMMUNICATIONS: B. Lord motioned to table the electing of a Chairman and Vice Chairman for the year 2001 until the next regularly scheduled meeting. The motion was seconded by P. Barker and unanimously approved. 'I'abled Mrs. Lord went over the correspondences received from historic societies and the letter from RTA. At this time Mr. Corell read the RTA letter aloud to the commission. Mr. Corell agreed that the house was in bad shape and probably was not transportable. Mr. Lang commented that on his letter there was a note to the Mayor from Mrs. Feke of the RTA requesting his advise on whether or not the I.andmarks Commission wished to have a walk through the old Kennedy house. He has not replied to that yet, but from what he knows the members do wish to go see what the inside of the historical house looks like. That can be arranged. Nlrs. O'Rourke commented that she would like to see the house. Mrs. Lord indicated that she would request that the commission be allowed to go visit the house on a Saturday morning that the board agrees upon. At this time Mr. Lang explained that Mr. Schwartz, a youth pastor, has contacted him in regards to the church at Barton and Lorain. He is interested in purchasing the church and was looking for historical information on it. Mrs. Lord commented that a board member should do some digging and find information about the church for Mr. Schwartz. Mrs. O'Rourke commented that she would do some research for him. V.
