Horizon Activities Center; 4001 Davide Drive: <br />Proposal consists of constructing a school bus shelter. <br />Note: Variance is required. <br />Chairman Tallon called all interested parties forward to review the proposal. Mr. Smith from <br />Horizons activity center came forward to review the proposal. Horizons would like to build a <br />school bus shelter for the daycare children: Mr. Smith passed out packets to the board members, <br />which included letters from neighbors indicating that they were for the bus shelter. A picture of <br />an existing bus shelter was submitted to show the board members what the shelter would look <br />like when completed. The buses can not enter the grounds of the daycare, as school buses can <br />not turn around. The shelter will be painted green and a sign will be placed saying that it is a <br />school bus shelter only. The shelter will be constructed out of glass and will be 5X10 feet. <br />There will be two side entrances to the shelter and handi cap accessible. Mr. Smith suggested <br />that Mr. Conway suggested the shelter be placed were it is being proposed. Mr. Koeth <br />questioned if an adult would supervise the children while in the shelter. Ntr. Smith indicated that <br />an adult would supervise the children at all times. Mr. Tallon questioned why a bus could not <br />turnaround at the daycare building. Mr. Smith suggested that school bus drivers are not allowed <br />to back the bus up to turnaround. As no audience members came forward no further comments <br />were made. <br />R. Tallon motioned to send Horizon Activities Center of 4001 I3avid Drive, which consists of <br />constructing a school bus shelter to the Board of Zoning Appeals with a recommendation that the <br />variances be approved. The motion was seconded by C. Allan roll call on the motion; R. Tallon, <br />R. Koeth, T. Hreha and C. Allan; "yes" W. Spalding; abstain. Motioned Carriecl. <br />R. Tallon motioned to approve Horizon Activities Center of 4001 David Drive their proposal, <br />which consists of constructing a school bus shelter, based on the variances being granted. The <br />motion was seconded by C. Allan, roll call on the motion; R. Tallon, R. Koeth, T. Hreha and C. <br />Allan; "yes" W. Spalding; abstain. Motioned Carried. <br />IV. NEW DEVELOPMENTS AND SUBDNISIONS: <br />l. Michelle & David 1Vlills' 3512 Dawn Drive: <br />The proposed lot split and consolidation of Permanent Parcel Numbers 231-17-106 (3512 Dawn <br />Dr.), 231-19-001 (3569 Golumbia Rd.), and 231-19-083. Permanent Parcel Number 231-19-083 <br />and the rear 29.12 feet of 3569 Columbia Rd. will be combined with 3512 Dawn Dr. The area is <br />being added to 3512 Dawn Dr. so a swimming pool can be placed on the rear of the property. <br />Chairman Tallon called all interested parties forward to review the proposal. Mr. & Mrs. Mills <br />the property owners came forward to review their request. Mr. Tallon questiqned if the <br />applicants currently owned all the land. Mr. Mills indicated that they own 2 of the parcels and <br />purchasing 27 feet of the neighboring lot. They would like to combine all the property into 1 lot. <br />They would like to place a pool in the back part of the lot, which will not require any variances if <br />this is approved. No further comments were made.
