I
17
somebody from the board would go to the meeting on behalf of Litehouse and recommend that
we are the ones who brought it to your attention and you would support it. The Architectural
Review Board thought it was the right thing to do.
M. Yager motioned to approve Litehouse Pools at 25601 Lorain Rd. proposal as submitted with
the following comments: 1) The landscaping along Bailey Rd. be improved to be more defined
to separate the residential area from the new building. 2) The front fagade be looked at and
altered to add more life and dimension similar to the existing building. 3) The building
materials match identically in color, texture, and form to the existing Litehouse Pools building.
4) If Litehouse is not allowed to go back for another variance then the proposal, with some
ininor modifications in the center, should be reviewed outside of a meeting by one of the board
members. 5) This proposal does not have to return to the Architectural Review Board.
The motion was seconded by K. Schulz and unanimously approved. Motion Carried 3/21/01.
Note: Architectural Review Board recommends to Planning Commission that they pursue the
variance to have the building frontage brought out.
2) AutoZone Development; 28535 Lorain Rd.
The proposal consists of constructing a 6,094 square foot building and site improvements for the
retail sale of auto parts.
