Mr. <br />Spalding suggested mounds and landscaping along the east and west sides of the site. Mr. Deichmann <br />reviewed that mounding would change the topography of the lot and could require additional drainage work. <br />Mr. Spalding would like to see more landscaping along both the southeast and southwest sides. Mr. Caster <br />who lives near the site questioned what the target date was for the work to start. Ms. Creadon suggested the <br />target date to start construction of the library is February 1, 2003. Mr. Caster is concerned about the open <br />foundations that are now exposed. Mr. Daily suggested that there were demolition contracts in place and the <br />removal of the basements will be the first issue addressed. They hope to start the demolition work within two <br />weeks. Ms. Creadon indicated that the City was waiting for the final approval from the Law Department so <br />work could start. They have placed snow fencing around the sites to keep people out and will address the <br />wholes as soon as the Law Department gives their approval. Discussion regarding demolition time lines took <br />place and when the wholes would be filed. Mr. Spalding questioned if the Butternut Ridge entrance would be <br />in line with the Middle School exist. Mr. Hunsicker suggested that the two drives would not be inline and the <br />library entrance should not cause any problems. <br />W. Spalding motioned to approve the New North Olmsted Public Library of 27403 Lorain Road, which <br />consists of a new 30,000 square foot Public Library. The proposal will go to the Architectural Review Board <br />with the recommendation that they look at adding additional landscaping along the southeast and southwest <br />property Iines. They recommend 1 flag pole placed on the Lorain side of the building and the Architectural <br />Review Board should review the plans for the gazebo or plantings that have been suggested. Mr. O'Ma11ey <br />reviewed that if the board was satisfied with the proposal they could send it to the Architectural Review <br />Board and indicate that they would not need to return unless they require major changes. Mr. Spalding <br />indicated that the proposal would not need to return unless the Architectural Review Board required major <br />changes. T.
