? <br />Screen walls shall be installed so that all posts and structural members are covered with a <br />finished material to within at least 12 inches, but no closer than S inches of grade unless treated <br />for ground contact. Materials shall be listed for exterior use and compatible with the structure <br />to which it is adjoined. (1369.03 (c) (1)) Screen wall shall be erected to withstand a fifteen- <br />pound horizontal wind pressure and properly supposed according to standard practice. 92 <br />Currently top of doors vary, 1369.03 (b) (2)) screen walls shall be installed plumb and top be <br />level. <br />Mr. & Mrs. Miller came forward to review their request. The board voiced their concern with <br />the doors being placed in the ground, as the wood will root. The board asked if the applicants <br />were willing to get the wood off the ground, take out all glass, paint the wood to weather proof <br />it and to not exceed 6-foot height on any structure they would allow the structures to remain. <br />The applicants agreed to not exceed the 6-foot height allowed by code and indicated that they <br />would paint the wood, remove the glass and get the wood off of the ground. The Building <br />Commissioner requested a time period be agreed to by all. Board and applicants agreed to a 60- <br />day time frame. <br />R. Klesta moved to approve Denise 1Vliller of 28391 Elder Drive as amended: The wooden <br />doors will not touch the ground. The height of the doors will not exceed 6-feet high. The <br />applicant will paint the wooden doors to weather proof them and the glass will be <br />removed from all structures. The work is to be completed within two months time. N. <br />Althen seconcied the motion, which was unanimously approved. <br />V. ADJOU1tNMENT: <br />N. Althen moved to adjourn the meeting. P.
