CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />"TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!" <br />LAIOTDMARKS COMIVIISSION <br />IN OLD TOWN HALL <br />JULY 12, 2004 <br />1VIINUTES <br />1. ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman Lang called the meeting to order at 7:15 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Chairman J. Lang, Board members; P. Schumann, T. Schock, B. Lord and M. Davis. <br />ABSENT: Board members G. Nashar, R. Koeth, P. Barker and D. Rerko. <br />U. REVIEW AND COItRECTIOIV OF MINU'TES: <br />The minutes of the June 14, 2004 Landmarks Commission meeting have been submitted for <br />approval. <br />Mr. Schock requested line two of page three read era of the home not area of the home. Mrs. <br />Lord's motion regarding utilities should read All required, not If required. <br />B. Lord moved to approve the minutes of June 14, 8004 as corrected. M. Davis seconded <br />the motion which was unanimously approved. <br />III. RECEPTION OF VISITORS: <br />IV. NEW BUSINESS: <br />V. COMMUNICATIONS: <br />A. Forum News July/August 2004 edition. <br />B. Cleveland Restoration. Org July e-mail newsletter <br />C. Echoes (Membership Newsletter of the Ohio Historical Society July/August 2004. <br />D. The Kent State University Press Fall/Winter 2004. • <br />E. Fagade a publication of the Cleveland Restoration Society Summer 2004 issue 73. <br />F. Memorandum to Mr. Lang from City Engineer Durbin regarding Plaque at library water <br />feature. <br />Mrs. Lord suggested that in the 7uly/August Forum News letter there is a listing of internet <br />sources and suggested each member receive a copy of the web addresses in their August packets. <br />VI. COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Commissioners will break up into committee groups to set up meeting dates. <br />VII. OLD BUSINESS: <br />Mrs. Lord reviewed that at Junes meeting Mr. Crabs was present and had an aerial view of his <br />property which was taken some time in the 50's and he has agreed to donate the negative to <br />Landmarks. Mr. Lang advised that a letter of appropriateness was granted the Mancuso's for <br />their deck on 7/14/03 therefore as long as they build the deck to code they do not need to return. <br />The Chairman announced that the ox cart sign was moved to the appropriate location as they <br />requested. <br />VIII. ADJOURNMENT: <br />B. Lord moved to adjourn the meeting in order to work individually in committee groups. <br />T.
