, • a, <br />Historical Society and received a quote for archiving records from the beginning of the city to <br />1970 and then up to current date. Mr. Barker thought Landmarks would like to entertain having <br />them look over items Landmarks has. Mrs. Lord suggested that the board should get their <br />archives in order before they have things micro fished. <br />Mr. Schumann indicated that the historical society would like the board to conduct a survey and <br />he has spoke to the sites teachers and they would assign students to conduct the survey. He <br />would like permission to speak to the incoming seniors at the high school by the end of the <br />month if th-e commission would like to complete the survey. The Commission had no objections <br />to Mr. Schumann looking into setting up sites students. Mr. Schumann also suggested using the <br />philanthropy club at the high school to raise money for historical events. Brief discussion of the <br />Boss house took place. <br />B. Lord motion to purchase two copies of How to Complete the Ohio Historical inventory <br />by Steven Gordon published by Ohio Preservation Office. M. Davis seconded the motion <br />which was unanimously approved. <br />VI. CONIMITTEE REPORTS: <br />VII. OLD BUSIl\1ESS: <br />A. Landmark members term sheet. <br />B. Checklist for Landmark applicants. <br />Mr. Lang reviewed the information packets that are distributed by the clerk to each applicant <br />prior to them going before the commission. <br />The Commission discussed their frustrations in the process of protecting the historical district. <br />The commission would like to come up with some type of notification for all the homeowners in <br />the historical district. Mr. Lang will talk with the law department regarding follow up <br />procedures for those issues that are denied. Mr. Lang briefly discussed the possibility of the <br />North Olmsted Middle school coming before their commission. <br />VIII. ADJOURNMENT: <br />P.
