Minutes of a Meeting of <br />The North Olmsted Parks and Recreation Commission <br />March 6, 2006 <br />Page Twelve <br /> <br />Hot Stove Agreement Expires at the end of the 2006 Season <br /> <br />Enclosed find a copy of a Report regarding the North Olmsted Hot Stove Baseball League dated <br />October 15, 2003 and an accompanying e-mail delineating an agreement between Hot Stove and the <br />Rec Department which is self-explanatory. <br /> <br />This concluded the Report of the Recreation Commissioner. <br />REPORT OF THE SAFETY DIRECTOR <br /> <br />CDBG Grant <br /> <br />Mr. Terbrack reported that the CDBG Grant of the City of North Olmsted was approved. Kim <br />Wenger is to be given credit for the work she performed to effectuate the Grant. The project includes <br />$15,500 as the City’s portion and totals $127,500. These funds will be used towards restroom <br />facilities and improvements for the park, including new playground equipment and asphalt paving. <br /> <br />This concluded the Report of the Safety Director. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Rotary Pavilion <br /> <br />Home Depot has donated $800 worth of material to be used for a new Rotary Pavilion. It is up to the <br />Rec Department to come up with a plan for the maintenance crew to build the Pavilion. <br /> <br />Diamond #1 Fence <br /> <br />A temporary fence was approved by Council to be used for the High School baseball season. <br /> <br />Tennis Courts <br /> <br />Ms. Powell thanked everyone involved for the improvements made in the tennis area, particularly the <br />Safety Director and Recreation Commissioner. <br />Page 12 <br /> <br />
