Minutes of a Meeting of the
North Olmsted Parks and Recreation Commission
March 3, 2008

relationship between the City and the skate park. Mr. DiSalvo said it is probably because it isn’t a
capital priority to spend $3,500 on the skate park, when there are so many issues within the building.
The skate park has an endowment account, and there should not be an issue with this. Capital
expenditure-wise, Mr. DiSalvo didn’t think it would get approved. Even his in-house Complex
priorities have not been approved through the process as well.

Ms. Thomas commented that there’s more people in the skate park than in the pool – which shows
how well-utilized it is on a daily basis. It’s a fact of life here.

This concluded the report of the Community Life Services Director.

OLD BUSINESS

None

NEW BUSINESS

None

ADJOURNMENT OF MEETING

After Motion duly made, seconded, and unanimously approved, the meeting adjourned at
7:52 p.m. The next scheduled meeting of the North Olmsted Parks and Recreation
Commission will be April 7, 2008.

Accepted and Approved:
______________________________________________
Terry Groden, Chairperson
______________________________________________
Judith A.
