Teams
come from all over including an entry form El Paso, Texas which has several Mexican players
bringing an International flavor to the Tournament. This is the big fundraiser for NOSO and
proceeds from the Tournament help offset annual operating expenses of the club.

Mr. Mekes outlined N.O.S.O.'s future needs.

1)More parking at Barton Bradley Park
?

Relocating the leaf dump to accommodate space
?

An additional 200 spaces are needed

2)Establish new soccer fields in North Olmsted.
?

Barton Bradley fields are over used and turf maintenance is becoming an issue.
?

Re-seeding goal-mouth areas is a major problem.
?

Two soccer fields were lost due the Shopping Mall expansion.
?

Resting fields 6-12 months to allow grass to take root is more difficult than in the
past.
?

The new trends in youth soccer is to create teams with smaller numbers to promote
skill development. While the program has been well received, it requires more field
space than traditional 11 man soccer games.

Ball Diamond Proposal
N.O.S.A.
