FITNESS CENTER RENOVATION PROJECT UPDATE: <br /> <br />Ms. Drenski stated Council had first reading for funding of the fitness center project and will <br />go to committee tomorrow. Ms. Drenski would like to get approval from the Commission on <br />on the pricing that was presented at the last meeting so that she can move forward and present <br />it for approval by council after the final reading. A motion was made to approve the fitness/pool <br />membership pricing, motion was seconded and approved by all. <br /> <br /> <br />SPECIAL EVENT UPDATES <br />: <br /> <br />th <br />The Santa Skate will be held on Sunday, December 15 and we anticipate a good turnout. <br />This will be the fourth year for our New Year’s Eve Family Fun Night, the Cleveland Edges <br />volunteer all of the staff to run this event which has been growing every year. <br /> <br /> <br />PROGRAM UPDATES: <br /> <br />Mr. Wetmore reported youth basketball games have started and are doing well. Pickleball is <br />doing extremely well, we have six courts open two days a week with over 30 participants. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />REVENUE / EXPENSE: <br /> <br />Ms. Drenski reported overall revenue is doing well and we should have no problem reaching <br />our numbers for the year. We needed to increase gymnastics revenue projection twice this <br />year to meet the increase income. Even though tennis was closed all summer do to renovations <br />we still managed to exceed our projected revenue. Our expenses are on track even though we <br />had a number of refunds due to the pool being shut down a couple of times do to maintenance issues. <br />Mr. Wetmore commented that with the addition this year of Olmsted Falls High School we now <br />have four swim teams including North Olmsted High School, Bay Village and YMCA Sea Turtles. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />COMMISSION MEMBER TOPICS: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
