do <br />Mr. Kearney moved, seconded by Mr. Dubowski, to approve the updated Landmarks <br />Commission Rules of Procedure, effective December 20, 2018, motion passed 6-0. <br />Centennial Home Program <br />Ms. Lieber reviewed the need for the Centennial Home Program audit. There was not much <br />progress with the program in 2018 so staff wants to assess the process and see if the program <br />should continue or be changed to be more effective. Mr. Aspery added that the Engineering <br />Department will create a map showing the homes that were approved and eligible as part of the <br />program. Of the 286 researched homes, 36% were Centennial Homes, 47% of the homes may be <br />Centennial Homes and 17% were not. Ms. Lieber suggested that the commission not make any <br />decisions regarding the future of the program until the map has been provided. In the further <br />research section, Ms. Egan -Reeves pointed out that Florence Road should be Florence Avenue <br />and Mr. Neville suggested adding Lorain Road. <br />GO North Olmsted Day: Thompson House <br />Mr. Neville said the weather was an issue for the Thompson House painting scheduled for <br />October 27th. More siding has been installed since October and the goal is to have all of the <br />siding installed by spring. Mr. Aspery pointed out that the purpose of Go North Olmsted day is <br />to get the community involved and he hoped having another day in the spring will get more <br />people outside of the commission involved. <br />Year in Review <br />Mr. Aspery asked that the commission look through the list he provided at the meeting and give <br />him any suggestions so he can have a draft ready for the January meeting. Mr. Morse pointed out <br />that the fourth Boom! was this year. Ms. Lieber reviewed the code change regarding the book <br />exchange boxes. Mr. Neville said a book exchange box has been proposed at Frostville. <br />Records <br />Ms. Rambo -Ackerman stated that George Corell donated four photos to the Landmarks <br />Commission. The photos are from the mid-1950s and show boy scouts at Old Town Hall with a <br />police car and fire truck and marching at North Olmsted Community Park. Mr. Morse and Mr. <br />Neville thought the Olmsted Historical Society would like to have the photos to put on display. <br />Mr. Neville suggested scanning the photos to keep with the Landmarks Commission's records <br />and giving the originals to Frostville. Mr. Dubowski suggested trying to find out who the people <br />in the photos are, Ms. Lieber stated that they can be posted on the Celebrate North Olmsted page. <br />Mr. Morse moved, seconded by Mr. Dubowski, to recommend donating the All Scouts Day <br />photos donated by George Corell to the Olmsted Historical Society, motion passed 6-0. <br />Heritage Home Prouram <br />Ms. Lieber compared the statistics of the 2018 Heritage Home Program to the 2017 statistics. <br />Due to the great participation in the program, the city will continue to their involvement in 2019. <br />Technical assists are instances where residents have been assisted without a site visit. Ms. <br />Cardarelli pointed out that the numbers are estimated project costs. The city will send out another <br />mayor's letter about the program. Ms. Cardarelli added that projects involving filling in pools are <br />eligible for the program now since it is a safety issue. <br />
