North Olmsted Civil Service Commission <br />May 27, 1976 <br />Page 4 <br />Section 2. That it is hereby determined that the following officers, <br />positions and employments in the Civil Service of the City of North <br />Olmsted are in the unclassified Civil Service since it is impracticable <br />to include such unskilled labor positions in the competitive classified <br />service: <br />Class "A" Laborers <br />Class "B" Laborers <br />Laborers -Treatment Plant <br />Custodian -Community Cabin <br />Mechanic Helper -Treatment Plant <br />Equipment Operator <br />Lift Station Attendant <br />Building Maintenance Man <br />Serviceman <br />Mechanic Apprentice <br />Mechanic Helpers -Laborers <br />Maintenance Men <br />Recreation Center <br />Rec. Assistant <br />Instructors <br />Head Skate, Toboggan, Life Guard <br />Building Supervisor <br />Head Cashier <br />Cashier <br />Janitor <br />Maintenance Person <br />Bookkeeper <br />Nursery Attendants <br />Typists <br />Food Service Helper <br />Pro Shop Salesperson <br />Life, Skate, Toboggan Guards <br />That the reason for including such positions in the unclassified service <br />is that each position requires no particular skill or talent for which an <br />adequate and meaningful examination could be provided since such positions <br />are those which require only that a person be in reasonably good health <br />and able to exercise sound judgment.' <br />
