REGULAR MEETING OF THE NORTH OLMSTED CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION = SEPTEMBER 2, 1976 <br />Present were Commissioner Bill Coming; Chairman Al Conte; and Secretary <br />James Kline.,; <br />Motion by B. Coming, seconded by A. Conte that the minutes of July 22, 1976 <br />be -accepted as submitted. <br />Passed. <br />Correspondence: <br />1. August 6, 1976 - Letter sent by Commission to Ray Carnahan, Safety Director, <br />City of North Olmsted, requesting his cooperation on job classifications <br />for positions at the Recreation Center. <br />2. August 5, 1976- Letter from Henry Caster, Service Director, submitting job <br />descriptions for Plant Operations Foreman and PBX Operator -Receptionist. <br />3. August 13, 1976 - Letter from Henry Caster, advising of a.leave of absence <br />for Robert Mathews, equipment operator.. <br />4. August 23, 1976 - Letter from Henry Caster, advising that Dorothy Reed,had been <br />appointed from the Clerk -Typist list. <br />5.August 24,. 1976"- Letter from He Caster, advising the Commission_: of. the <br />continual tardiness of Richard Frolo; unlicensed Operator Wastewater <br />Treatment Plant. <br />Old Business: <br />The Commission discussed its letter sent to Mr. Carnahan concerning the need' <br />for job descriptions for the Recreation Center. The Commission agreed to send <br />one final request for information by the September 23rd•meeting. If the job <br />descriptions are not presented, the Commission will proceed on classification <br />status based on job titles as listed in the current ordinance. <br />New Business: <br />Motion by B. Coming, seconded by Al Conte that the following bills be submitted <br />for payment to the City Finance Department: <br />Monitoring Expenses for Fireman Exam <br />Tony Peinert $15.00 <br />
