N Regular Minutes of the North Olmsted Civil Service Commission -- November 17, 1976 Present were Commissioners John Grady; Bill Coming; Chairman Al Conte; Secretary James Kline and Chief Marion Taylor, North Olmsted Police Dept. Motion by J. Grady, seconded by B. Coming that the minutes of October 28, 1976 be accepted as submitted. Passed. Correspondence: 1. November 3, 1976 - Letter from Henry Caster, Service Director, advising the Commission that Gregory James has obtained his Class I Operator License. 2. November 3, 1976 - Letter from Henry Caster advising that Jackie Dick's leave of absence has been cancelled. 3. November 3, 1976 - Letter from Henry Caster, advising the Commision that Dana Beckrest, Bus Operator, was dismissed on November 1, 1976. 4. November 11, 1976 - Letters sent by the Commission to Henry Caster_ and Ernie Zoldes advising the City on the PBX Operator and Receptionist classification and classification status of Zone Supervisor and Asst. Supervisor oaf Maintenance in the Bus Department. Old Business: The Commission proceeded to review and discuss the results of examinations for Clerical Assistant, City.of North Olmsted and Clerk -Typist and Library Clerk for the North Olmsted Board of Education. Motion by B. Coming, seconded by J. Grady that the passing mark for the three positions of Clerical Assistant, Clerk -Typist, and Library Clerk be set at 90 raw score points. Passed. The secretary was instructed to open the identification envelopes and to establish the certified lists for all three positions. All candidates will be notified of their results.
