r.Minutes of the North Olmsted Civil Service Commission - 10/11/77 <br />Present were Commissioners Bill Coming and Walter Spalding and Secretary <br />James P. Kline. <br />Motion by Bill Coming, seconded by W. Spalding that the minutes of September 15 <br />be accepted as corrected. <br />Passed. <br />Correspondence: <br />1. October 3, 1977 - Letters from Richard W. Koharik, Safety Director <br />requesting that Steven B. Sandish be removed from the Fireman's <br />list for medical reasons. Attached was a copy of the medical <br />report and a letter from Dr. Maldonado. <br />2. September 9, 1977 - Letter from Earl Weldon, advising the Commission <br />of the hiring of Robert Kessler. <br />3. October 5, 1977 - Letter from J. Robert Kraps, School Personnel <br />Director, requesting an examination for Head Custodian. <br />4. September 9,. 1977 - Letters sent by the Commission advising candidates <br />for Patrolman who are not eligible to take the examination. <br />The secretary proceeded to inform the Commission about recent developments <br />in the appointment of candidates from the current Fireman's certified list. <br />After the discussion over the status of Mr. Thomas Godd, the Commission <br />directed the secretary to advise by letter of his current status on the <br />Fireman's certified list. <br />*Motion by W. Spalding, seconded by �B. Coming that Mr. Steven Standish_be <br />removed from the Fireman's eligibility list because of medical reasons. <br />Passed. <br />The secretary was directed to inform Mr. Standish of his.legal rights under <br />the North Olmsted Civil Service Rules and Regulations to be heard before <br />the Commission on the removal of his name from the Fireman's eligibility list. <br />
