Also in attendance were Ronald Zurawski, City Engineer and <br />Joseph Corrigan, Service Director. <br />--Motion-by Roger: Alexander; seconded. by.: Walter Spalding, that the -minutes- of, <br />the previous meeting be accepted as presented. <br />Passed. <br />Correspondence Received: <br />June 30 - McCann Associates, copy of letter to Mr. Zurzwski concerning <br />examinations for the Engineering Department <br />+lily 1 - Mr. Zurawski, name address and phone number of Professor Frank <br />Gallo <br />aly 3 - Chief Taylor, appointment of Patrolman James Calvitti <br />:aly 7 -.Ken Mues:,-Municipal_-Bus Line, regarding suspended -license of bus <br />operator, David Sapp <br />July 9 - Mr. Zurawski, list of Inames and addresses of persons to serve on <br />panel to evaluate candidates for positions in the Engineering <br />Department <br />Correspondence Sent: <br />June 28 - Mr. Storch, informing of changing of position of Elementary <br />School Secretary to classified -competitive and changing of <br />terminology in 1967 agreement <br />June 30 - Mr. Zurawski, requesting names and addresses of persons to serve <br />-- on -a _paneL. to evaluate --_candidates for positions in the Engineering <br />Department, the personnel file of Mike Welch, and the name and <br />address of Professor Gallo <br />July 3 - Mr. Petre, informing of Commission's decisions on requests made <br />by him <br />July 8 - Chief Taylor, copy of letter from Ronald Wilamosky, Chairman, <br />_ ....... Finance Committee <br />Mr. Zurawski informed the Commission that the Provisional Appointment of <br />Chief Inspector, John Mueller was made on July 17, 1978. Therefore, since <br />he has been in this position for two years on July 17, 1980, he shall become <br />a permanent appointee as of that date in accordance with the Ohio Revised <br />Code Section 124.271. <br />Mr. Corrigan stated that the City Council establishes pay ranges or pay <br />scales within which an employee's salary may be determined. <br />
