Motion by Walter Spalding, seconded by Roger Alexander, that the <br />passing score be established at 45. <br />Passed. <br />The certified list was then established as follows: <br />Certified List <br />An examination for the position of Assistant Fire Chief has been scheduled <br />for December 18, 1980 and will be administered by the Education Committed of <br />the Ohio fire Chiefs' Association. <br />Motion by Roger Alexander, seconded by Walter Spalding, that rule #9, subpart -//-1 , <br />i entitle Disciplinary Suspension be amended by adding the f8TIowing words: <br />"Notwithstanding the foregoing, an employee who is suspended for a period <br />of at least three (3) but not more than five (5") working,days may never— <br />theless submit a statement in writing of his objection to such suspension <br />-to the commission within t.en..(10) days of the date on which he is notified <br />of such suspension.Such statement shall contain reasons why the employee <br />believes the suspens'on was improper -or excessive. In such a case the <br />commission shall forthwith request justification'in writing from the <br />appointing authority and -=shall consider the statement and the justifi— <br />cation together at the next regularly scheduled meeting.
