CITY OF NORTH OLMSTE® CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO 400000 Minutes of the regular meeting of the North Olmsted Civil Service Commission held on December 3, 1981. Motion by Walter Spalding, seconded by Roger Alexander, that the minutes of the previous meeting be accepted as presented. Passed. Correspondence Received: Oct. 28, 1981 — Patricia Scott, Municipal Bus Line, resignation of bus operator, David Sapp, and reassignment of Clifford DiNunzio Nov. 2, 1981 — Eugene Petre, Safety Director, regarding firefighter applicant, Carl Roach, who has exceeded age limit requirements Nov. 11, 1981 — Robert Storch, Assistant Superintendent of Schools, ,job description for position entitle Systems Operator — MIS Nov. 19, 1981 — McCann Associates, invoice for examination for Building Inspector Nov. 20, 1981 — Kenneth Mues, General Manager, Municipal Bus Line, disciplinary action for bus operator, Clifford DiNunzio Nov. 23, 1981 — Patricia Scott, certification forms for bus operators, Jeannette McCaoy and Alan Tuuri Correspondence Sent: Nov. 16, 1981 — Ted J. Kerg III, removal from certified list for firefighter Nov. 16, 1981 — Kevin Kittrick, removal from certified list for firefighter Motion by Roger Alexander, seconded by Walter Spalding, the following expense be submitted to the City Finance Department for payment: McCann Associates 9910.62 (examination for Building Inspector) Passed. A special meeting will be held on December 14, 1981 to hear Kevin Kittrick and reach a decision on the appeal of William Schneider. Communication from Eugene Petre, Safety Director, regarding firefighter applicant, Carl Roach was discussed. Since Mr. Roach has passed the maximum age of 31, he will no longer be considered for any vacancies in the fire department. Correspondece from Mr. Robert Storch regarding a new position entitle Systems Operator — MIS was discussed. Mr. Storch requested this position be declared unclassified. It is the opinion of the Commission that this position does not fall into one of the categories exempted from the classified service under the Ohio Revised Code. Motion by Walter Spalding, seconded by Roger Alexander, that the position of Systems Operator — MIS be a classified position. Passed.
