Those present included- the following: <br />Phillip .H11ffma_r_,Commissioner <br />Patricia Bahas,Secretary <br />Chief Van Kuren,North Olmsted Fire Chief <br />Minutes <br />Minutes of the September 22nd meeting were approved as read. <br />(.,orrespondence <br />Correspondence received and sent can be found attached to the <br />minutes. <br />Finance Report <br />None. <br />Old Business <br />Letter to Mr. Gareau <br />Mrs. Bahas submitted a draft of the letter she composed <br />regarding the legality of the Commission to suggest the job <br />classifications on a scale basis in accordance with the level <br />of required skills and responsibilities which would serve as <br />a possible frame of reference in the establishment of wage <br />levels. After some discussion and reference to the Ohio Revis- <br />ed,Code, the secretary was asked to mail the letter to Mr. <br />Gareau for his legal opinion. <br />Revised Firefighter -Paramedic Forms <br />Chief Van Kuren requested approval for a revision of e <br />evaluation forms. Commession members felt that it was within <br />the jurisdiction of the Fire Chief and not that of the Commis- <br />sion to determine eval,)a+.; nn do <br />
