North Olmsted Civil Service Minutes <br />The regular <br />to order by the <br />following: <br />�aul ggeau - Commissioner <br />can c ay - Commissioner <br />Patricia Bahas-Secretary <br />Jim Klein - Civil Service <br />June 2I,I984 <br />meeting of the North Olmsted Civil Service was called <br />chairman, Phillip Huffman. In attendance were the <br />Minutes <br />Liason f or N. 0. Schools <br />The minutes of April 17th, May 7th, and May 24th were approved <br />as read, but the Secretary requested that the Commission allow the <br />minutes to be retyped due to a mechanical malfunction of the typewriter. <br />Permission granted. <br />Correspondence_ <br />Sheets listing all of the correspondence for the months of May and <br />June will be attached to the julycopy of the minutes and will be <br />disseminated to the appropriate minutes after the approval of the <br />July Minutes. <br />Finance Report <br />Expense sheet submitted for approval for Physical Agility Tests. <br />Approval granted. <br />Old Business <br />Elementary Hd. Custodian Test: <br />Elementary Hd. Test scheduled for the 28th of June will be held <br />in the N. 0. High School Cafeteria. A review of the entire custodial <br />testing situation was held. Mr. Klein explained that the vacancy for <br />Hd. High School Custodian was filled by James Andrews after an in- <br />house notification process, followed by a published announcement <br />of the vacancy. The Commission agreed to allow Mr. Andrews to take <br />the test, but Mr. Andrews would have to rank competitively to re- <br />tain his position. Candidates interviewed for the temporary appoint- <br />ment included: <br />Bob Harper- Electrician <br />Wm. Donahue- Pro"t.a.tionary <br />Bill Alm- (f ormerly)'Hd, <br />New Business <br />Custodian at Birch School <br />Jr. High Custodian <br />City Clerk Typist: <br />An exam for this position will be scheduled and advertised in <br />late summer or early Fall. The scheduling of this exam will be de- <br />pendant upon the custodial exam situation. <br />New Rule on Suspensions and Hearings <br />
