Ll
CIVIL SERVICE MEETING
PAGE 2
NEW BUSINESS
need to be given. Tracy Ice received a letter back from the Mayor
dated June 5, 1991 advising her to contact Ron Wilamosky and get a
letter from him stating Anne Hearns status the Mayor said "all
clerical positions do fall subject to a Union contract".
The Civil Service Commission and Mr. Gundy both agreed that the
Police Entry Level Examination will be given early next year instead
of trying to give a test this year. This will give Mr. Huggins
enough time to prepare and train candidates for this test (that is
if we are able to use his services).
At this time, the Civil Service's certified list still has 5
candidates who have passed the Agility Test and who are waiting to
be interviewed (that is if any openings open up in the Police
Department). Civil Service also has about 50 people who passed the
written exam. but who are waiting.to take the Agility Test. If need
be, Civil Service can give another Agility Test.
ADJOURNMENT
As there were no further matters to be brought before the
Commission, the meeting adjourned at 5:30 pm.
There will be no meeting in the month of JUNE. Our next meeting
will be on July 25, 1991 at 4:30 pm in the Old Town Hall.
Chairman, Robert Wendt
Secretary, Tracy Ice
